First Christmas Recipe

Well, yes it is January. So of course it's time to start Christmas cards. :)

This is for the something blue, add an angel, sprinkle with glitter and flowers recipe on CMLI. 1 Christmas card down.... how many more to go?

Thanks to Cherry for the image that I received in a recent swap.

Sketch time again

Well, another weekend, another sketch on CMLI. This Saturday it was Debs' turn to guest design and boy did she set us an interesting sketch! I couldn't quite fit the theme in of 'dressing up' and I was in desperate need of making my husband's Valentine's card...plus he was working all day....so....

I used the free papers from this month's Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine, very versatile for a unisex Valentine's card I think. I've photographed the card standing up so you can see the aperture in the front and chalk and stamp on the inside. The diagonal strips are red glitter on double sided-tape, the first time I've used that technique and I think it works really well.

Sending hugs and flowers

This is the card I made for Saturday's sketch challenge over on the Craft Mad and Loving It group on craftbubble.com. The twist was 'animals' so a great chance to use my Milton and Co stamp along with my new Sahara Sand versamagic ink for a sepia look. I'm quite pleased with the results although the photo is a bit grainy.

I shall also be entering this into a few other challenges:
